Personal life goals setting ranks as one of those top ten things on everyone’s favorite things to do on a bright sunny afternoon. NOT! But when is the last time you set goals for yourself? I mean really put some short-term and long-term goals that are specific and in reach that you want to accomplish in a set time frame? Has it been awhile? Ever?
Life goals provide the destination for us. Knowing our destination gives us the opportunity to examine the gap between our destination and our current state. With those two points, we can establish a road map to get us from where we are to where we want to go. And on the map, we can set up check points along the way to make sure we didn’t make a wrong turn or if we did, we can get back on track before we get completely lost.

How a Life Coach Can Help with Life Goals
Sometimes figuring out what you really want in life gets a little tough. Our mind wanders all over the place. We get distracted by the million and one priorities that want to take first place and end up frustrated by the “wisdom” we’ve heard from all the voices around us. A life coach can help you focus on what is really important to YOU. That’s one of the many roles a good life coach can take for you. He or she can give you some processes to help you weed through the stack of “good” things to get clarity in your life and understand what you really want as your long-term life goals and how to achieve them.
